What is Coaching?
"Coaching is unlocking a person's potential to maximize their own performance.
It is helping them to learn rather than teaching them" - Gallway
Life or personal coaching is a structured process of examining values, beliefs and perception of the individual in general. This is with the objective of setting goals and actions plans or changing the perception to help individuals remove blocks and achieve measurable and sutainable benefits in all aspects of their lives.
The coach views the individual in terms of their potential and NOT their current performance and perception. Building awareness, responsibility and self-belief is the goal of the coach. Self belief is built when we make decisions, take successful actions and recognize our full responsibility for both.
"The elimination of internal obstacles often dimishes external obstacles to manageable proportions"
This is where Helen's style of coaching differs from many other coaches. The focus on the perception of an indvidual is more powerful than just action coaching alone. In combination this produces extremely powerful changes in and for the individual.
